Paneer Do Pyaza Recipe

Paneer Do Pyaza is a  Paneer recipe made of a lot of onions. it’s a very delicious recipe. The various vegetarian recipe like for mushroom do Pyaza, paneer Do Pyaza is also popular Indian recipe. Like a traditional Recipe in India.


  • Paneer 200 gm Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 medium chopped onion
  • 2 small onion petals
  • Green Chili
  • 1 Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp cashew 1/2 cup
  • Tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • Oil 3 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Paneer Masala
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Kasturi methi
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • Water 1.5 cup


  1. Cut the paneer into 2-inch cubes and cut the onion into 4 equal parts and separate its layers.

2. Heat a non-stick pan add  1 tbsp oil and shallow fry onion layers until light brown. Then transfer to a plate.

3. Heat the same pan and add 2 tbsp vegetable oil . add sugar, cumin seeds, chopped onion and saute until golden brown (Don’t Burn).

4. Add ginger-garlic paste saute for a minute.

5. Add tomato pure saute 5 minutes. And Kaju and watermelon paste saute until oil to separate.

6. Add spicy powder turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder,  salt to taste mix well and cook 15 to 20 minutes.

7. Add paneer cubes and fried onions mix well. ½ cup of water and cook 10 minutes.

8. The last one Add fresh cream and Garam masala mix well.

9. Now paneer Do Pyaza is Ready, and serve with Garam roti and paratha.
